Yesterday when I came home from Master Georges place and a wonderfull afternoon sitting under his apple tree talking and beeing invited to stay for a BBQ my computer wouldent start.

Ha a virus I first thought, but no that was wrong. So after some restarts, diagnostics, restors, boot disks etc I finally figured that it probarly was a hard drive malfunction. I saw the problem of sending of the comp to the company I bought it from to get a new hd installed, loosing about 6 months of unbackupped pictures etc.

And then.... as if by a miracle the computer got back to me. First thing I did was to back up all those pictures.
So now i have added even more security to the comp and I will have to keep my fingers crossed untill I start the computer again.

Also managed to do some cooking made a nice vegetarian stew with Halumi chese, onions, carrots, mushroms, black beans, red lentels, cooking wheat ( you know that stuff thats used in all our mediveal banquets). Spiced it with red curry, garlic, ginger, white pepper some salt. And just let it cook for a few hours.. Nothing much just the joy of making a nice warm meal. Also got some salad that I will add to the meal. Like to have some green leafy stuff with the food. So now I have a working comp again and lunches for work.

Vegetarian, huh?

I'm having to train myself *not* to go for the salad option, to put extra meat on the plate and so forth, or I won't get enough proteins for my training regimen.

And I've always considered hardware an arcane religion of its own. Just make sure never to sacrifice blood to a computer, or it might acquire a taste for it...

Actually the amount of proteins is mostly important if you are building muscle mass.

However a good composed meal with lots of protein rich veggies will be sufficent for your average daily need even if you are working out. It is a matter of getting enough energy in the form of fat and calories in and burning them of. Proteins are necessary but you need the rest to get the best out of them

I eat meat but I have started to do a lot of vegitarian cooking and I usually add some Halumi Chese or Tofu to the meal just to boost the protein. What is more important in my oppinion is that I get more fiber and minerals and vitamins than I do with a meat rich diet. So I feel more energized than if I eat a meal rich in meat with little or no weggies on the side.

The main thing is actually to think about your meal use good produce and no premade-of-the-shelf stuff, or as little as possible.
